Hello AD Blog readers,
today I would like to review a stunning folding knife, which I used during my last trip in Croatia this year, the RUIKE P135-SF
The RUIKE P135-SF is an all-stainles steel knife, in fact the handle is made of 420 stonewashed stainless steel, while the razor sharp blade is made of 14C28N stainless steel.
The blade is deadly centered
Opening the knife is an easy thing, thanks to the flipper and ball bearing pivot design, the knife can be deployed fastly and effortlessy
On the handle, you may see the unique "Beta Plus" safety lock system, fitted to strenghten the liner lock mechanism, so is extra-safe handling the knife
The blade is 92 mm (3.62") in lenght, and 3,5 mm (0.14") in thickness. The blade grind is flat, and all the blade is brushed. The OAL of the knife is 214 mm (8.42"), the weight is 167 grams (5.89 oz). On the handle we may find a lanyeard hole, and a stainless steel pocket clip
Carrying the knife is easy; due to the well designed pocket clip, the knife sit safely and comfortably in the pocket
|To make the extraction easier, you may add a lanyard to the knife. The lanyard hole allows for using a piece of Paracord 550|
First impressions are really fine. Stunning workmanship, beautiful design, good materials, make this folding knife a winner. Now, let's try it on the field.
ON THE FIELD
As I said, I have used the RUIKE P135-SF during my last trip in Croatia. I spent four weeks on a journey throghout several campsites, and the P135-SF was always with me.
I have to say it was very useful for a lot of tasks, especially to start fires when needen and possible due to the local laws
or making tent pegs and similar items
or, again, cutting fruit and bread
The RUIKE P135-SF it's really a good folding knife. Is comfortable, very effective, well machined, safe to use and - last but not least - beautiful. In few words, is a knife which I really enjoied to work with.
